Women Who Dare
A conversation with Assemblywoman Nily Rozic
When she was elected to office in 2012, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic became the youngest woman to serve in the New York State legislature. So she knows a thing or two about how to get women into positions of leadership and impact, and keep them there.
Bring the munchkin and join Mindr in conversation with Nily about her experiences as an elected representative and advocate for the rights of women, and her vision for empowering more female leaders than ever before.
Nily has championed bills creating flexibility in the workplace and fostering entrepreneurship in underserved communities. As part of the #MeToo movement, she has introduced legislative measures to protect sexual harassment victims and avoid the use of Non-Disclosure Agreements to conceal instances of harassment.
We'll be chatting with Nily over coffee and delicious baked goods thanks to our hosts, Irving Farm Coffee Roasters. And you'll be in the running to take home some serious swag, like a one-hour massage in the comfort of your own home from our friends at Zeel (because even the greatest changemakers need some me-time), and a set of Women Who Dared blocks from Rose & Rex to help educate the next generation about strong female role models.
